The Ribeye Swimbait is a versatile and unique swimbait that can be rigged several different ways. When rigged with Owner's Weighted Beast Hook the weighted shank acts as a keel when retrieving at high speed, and also helps to swim the bait down into the "strike zone". Unlike hollow belly swimbaits the Ribeye Swimbait will not spin or roll over when rigged with a non-weighted hook. The non-weighted Beast hook is perfect for retrieving at slower speeds to achieve great side to side action. If retrieved slow enough or with the rod tip up the Ribeye Swimbait will actually wake on the surface with the tail still kicking while spitting and splashing the surface. Rigged on the Flashy Swimmer the combination acts a great "search-bait" similar to a spinnerbait to cover great amounts of water in a short time.
